Description
Position Purpose: Responsible for leading the Finance System Analyst team, overseeing daily operations, ensuring project alignment with business goals, and driving the overall direction of financial systems.
- Coordinates daily operations and activities of the team.
- Ensures projects are aligned with business objectives, completed on time and within budget.
- Provides broader guidance on project management to ensure the overall quality.
- Acts as the primary liaison between the Finance department and other departments, including IT.
- Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements solutions.
- Ensures compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepares and presents reports to management and stakeholders.
- Fosters a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Participates in the development and execution of strategic plans for financial systems.
- Leads the finance systems product backlog and prioritizes development efforts.
- Provides support and mentorship to production support staff assistance with complex issue resolution.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and recommends their integration.
- Support managers to lead cross-functional teams in system implementation and improvement initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field required: 5+ years of experience in financial systems or a similar role, with leadership experience required. Extensive knowledge of financial systems, data management, and project management required.
