Description
Position Purpose: Perform various analysis and interpretation to link business needs and objectives for assigned function. This position supports the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory readiness of provider-directory information by analyzing, mapping, validating, and reconciling data across multiple source files, systems, and directory outputs. The Business Analyst II investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes, and partners with data owners, internal teams, and vendors to drive issues toward resolution while supporting reporting, process improvement, and automation opportunities.
Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.
Advanced Excel experience with data comparisons, lookups, validation, filtering, and reconciliation is strongly preferred.
Experience analyzing and reconciling information across multiple data sources and investigating discrepancies through root-cause resolution is highly valuable.
Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Query, automation, provider data, or healthcare data experience is preferred.
This is a remote position. Candidates located within the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.
- Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems.
- Identify and analyze data, user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes.
- Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, investigate discrepancies and root cause, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation.
- Identify ways to enhance performance management, data quality, validation, automation, and operational reports related to new business implementation processes.
- Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications.
- Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units to document findings, resolve issues, and validate outcomes.
- Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standard.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Project management experience preferred.
