Position Purpose: Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the state wide marketing & communication programs
Key Details: For this role we are seeking candidates who reside within 45 minutes of Indianapolis, IN.
- Conduct member outreach and education programs including coordination and creation of member materials
- Assist in the design, review and revision of health-related materials distributed to members
- Participate in community events and coordinate booth set up at sponsored events
- Assist with presentations to community and members on benefits, services available, and health topics
- Ensure the completion of monthly outreach calendars by regional outreach staff for all service areas
- Serve as a contact for community agencies, businesses, fundraisers, community events etc.
- Ability to travel 75% including evenings and weekends
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of public relations, marketing, or customer service experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Health care experience preferred. Strong history of community engagement, partner relationship building, event planning, timeliness and the ability to complete projects in a fast-paced work environment, preferred. Comfortable presenting to members then receiving their feedback/concerns and finding solutions while collaborating with other departments, preferred. Medicaid product knowledge preferred. Experience in sponsorship management is also highly ideal.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license.
