Position Purpose: Plans, coordinates, and controls the daily activities related to the maintenance and repair of Fidelis Care New York vehicles. Manages the drivers, and assists the driving staff with all requests as needed; is responsible for coordinating the schedule of the Fidelis Care Community Office Vehicles fleet of RV’s. Additional duties include managing inventory of Fidelis branded giveaway items.

Key Details: Community field based position. This role oversees fleet drivers across Upstate New York, including Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany. Responsibilities include ensuring RVs are properly maintained, drivers adhere to schedules and arrive on time, and operations remain closely coordinated with the Marketing team.

  • Maintains all vehicles, and performs mechanical troubleshooting regularly; maintains upkeep and overall cleanliness; ensures vehicles are safe for full operation; calls for maintenance and service to ensure the ongoing operation of the fleet.
  • Plans and arranges travel schedules to minimize delays and ensure successful itineraries.
  • Coordinates vehicle presence at Marketing Events. Ensures vehicles are properly stocked with up-to-date materials and brochures.
  • Determines optimum inventory/stock levels; reorders stock to control inventory levels and meet operational objectives.

Education/Experience: High School degree required; BA/BS - Bachelors Degree preferred Two to five years related experience required. One to three years supervisory experience preferred. Experience driving commercial vehicles like Taxis, Limos, Trucks, and/or buses, and transporting passengers. Documented experience in resolving routine vehicle malfunctions, change a flat tire, tire pressure, and oil changes. Management skills, must manage staff of drivers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access; Lotus Notes; Internet, People Soft time keeping. Vehicle Care: General knowledge and trouble shooting experience of standard motorized vehicles. Business Analysis Knowledge: Skilled to work in a fast paced environment. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Customer Service: Skilled to communicate with all levels of management, internal and external customers. Ability to work well as a member of a team or alone. Effective Business Communication: Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements. Proficiency in one or more languages other than English.Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
