Position Purpose: Manages the day-to-day responsibilities of a team focused on creating Enterprise-class data assets reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Assets will include (but are not limited to) reports, visualizations, dashboards, and data extracts.
Supports the delivery of meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions, combined with subject-matter expertise to deliver coherent, insightful takeaways comprehensive read-outs, and advice/recommendations grounded in what our data is telling us.
Does all of the above by recruiting, retaining and enabling team members to do their best and most meaningful work with a supportive and team-driven approach to delivering value to our customers spanning from members to business stakeholders.
Key Details: Lead the BICOE enablement team and strengthen Centene's analyst community as it moves into AI-enabled analytics. The manager will preserve a high-trust, high-energy culture; build influential relationships across the enterprise; and partner credibly in technical discussions to guide practical solutions.
This is a remote position within the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Partners with stakeholders to identify business requirements, prioritize requirements based on resources (budget/timeline) and manage the end-to-end design and development of solutions, while upholding and maintaining governance of department process and patterns to ensure scalable and reliable solutions
Manages the day-to-day work of assigned staff and operations of the department
Leads, directs, and reviews the work of the team to ensure successful operational outcomes within the department
Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by the team, clients, and stakeholders
Develops and/or refines procedures to improve results and leads change efforts to ensure sustainable improvement
Sets direction for the work group and operationalizes key strategic initiatives as defined by senior management
Ensures work is completed within the established budget and timeline
Designs, develops, implements, and trains end-users on new BI and Analytical Solutions
Identifies and provides input to new technology opportunities that will have an impact on the enterprise-wide BI systems
Manages the development of data solutions from beginning to end of the software/solution development life cycle (SDLC)
Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching
Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices
Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results
Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position
Master's Degree preferred
Technical Skills:
