This is a remote position but location in central or eastern time zones is preferred.
Position Purpose:
The Business Operations Oversight Analyst provides first-line Enterprise Business Operations Services oversight of regulatory deliverables, reporting, and audit coordination. This role focuses on monitoring execution, identifying risks, and ensuring timely, accurate responses to regulatory and audit requirements while partnering with business teams to drive corrective actions.
- Review and analyze operational deliverables and data reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submission
- Interpret new and changing regulatory requirements against current processes to identify where process updates may be needed, communicate those recommendations to cross-functional leadership, and support business implementations for process compliance
- Own end-to-end audit response activities, including the initial evaluation of auditor requests, cross-functional stakeholder coordination (including EBOS, Payment Integrity, UM, health plans, etc.) to fulfill audit requests, and the review and approval of audit documentation provided by stakeholders with accountability for final submission quality
- Drive cross-functional leadership alignment to mitigate compliance risks and improve operational effectiveness
- Identify compliance risks and lead targeted operational audits and control reviews to drive effective oversight and risk mitigation
- Advise business stakeholders on new and emerging trends identified through regulatory reviews and audit results
- Consult on the remediation of findings related to regulatory non-compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, compliance, or related field or equivalent experience required.
2+ years compliance, regulatory, or related experience. Experience with auditing and reporting processes, action plans, and compliance training required.
