Employee Networks at Centene
Open to every single employee, our voluntary, employee-led networks provide professional and leadership development programs across a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Employee networks are a central component of our One CenTeam culture, with more than 26,000 of our team members participating across the networks.
Our employee networks include Centene Professional Networks (CPNs) and Employee Inclusion Groups (EIGs) which provide professional and leadership development programs, contribute to community impact initiatives, and support business innovation and corporate best practices.
All Employee Networks are open to any employee regardless of background, and participation is entirely voluntary and has no bearing on employment decisions, performance evaluations, or advancement opportunities.

I.N.S.P.I.R.E.
Centene’s Women and Allies Employee Inclusion Group aims to help its members meet their professional and personal goals at all career and life stages through development sessions, mentoring and community engagement.

MOSAIC
Our Multicultural Employee Inclusion Group, MOSAIC, provides peer support through networking, mentoring, and coaching while promoting education and awareness to support employee engagement and retention.

CENVET
Centene’s Veterans and Military Families Employee Inclusion Group provides support and resources for employees who have served in the armed forces and those related to a service member or former service member, as well as engaging all employees interested in CenVet’s mission.

ABILITY
The People with Disabilities & Caregivers Employee Inclusion Group supports and enables all CenTeamers to fully contribute and reach their full potential in the workplace, while encouraging inclusive practices and accessibility throughout the company.

cPRIDE
Centene’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Inclusion Group supports an inclusive work environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and all employees within the spectrum of gender and sexual orientation. The EIG supports a work environment where all employees have equal opportunities, providing development, support, and networking opportunities.

STAGES
Centene’s workforce includes five generations of individuals at varied life and career stages. Our intergenerational Employee Inclusion Group brings together our multigenerational workforce to deepen relationships and promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and succession planning to strengthen our One CenTeam culture.

WOMEN IN STEM
Centene Women in STEM is dedicated to fostering an environment where employees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields can thrive. This network provides support, resources, and opportunities for professional growth, empowering members to reach their full potential.

Centene’s commitment to strengthening local communities includes supporting and amplifying team members’ service and charitable giving efforts. Our Centene ImpACT® program connects team members with measurable, verified service and giving opportunities that advance the missions of our strategic community partners. Employees are also provided with up to eight hours of paid time off annually to support eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations of their choosing, as well as additional time off to assist with medical or general efforts during medically declared states of emergency.
Additionally, Centene’s service and giving platform includes a charitable match program. Through this program, team members’ donations to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations are matched dollar for dollar, up to a company-determined annual individual cap, by the Centene Foundation.
