My passion for caring for medically complex children is inspired by my sister. Nurses made a difference in her life and our family's. Today, I ensure every child receives compassionate, comprehensive care. The Power of Nurses is in our resilience, adaptability, and strength in vulnerable moments. Humor also goes a long way! We celebrate small wins, guide families through uncertainty, and provide hope, healing, and heart every day.
My mother was a nurse for over 40 years, inspiring me to make a difference through care. Today, I work directly with the community—visiting members' in their homes to ensure they have access to the resources they need for their health and well-being. The Power of Nurses lies in the way we show up – for our patients, their families, and each other—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Losing my newborn son changed everything. Nursing became my mission—to honor his life by helping other families. What drives me is the chance to connect deeply, advocate, and bring clarity during overwhelming moments. Even when we can’t change the outcome, we can still educate, empower, and care for the whole person. That’s the true Power of Nurses.
Nursing combines my love for science with meaningful human connection. We’re not just caregivers—we’re advocates, educators, and problem-solvers. What I love most about nursing is connecting with people. Meeting members where they are, understanding their challenges, educating, and advocating for their well-being is incredibly rewarding.
