Centene Internship Experience

Undergraduate Program
As a summer intern with Centene, you'll be challenged and develop meaningful skills by being engaged on real-time business initiatives, working alongside people as passionate as you are about transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. You must be an undergraduate student with one year of general work experience and Microsoft(TM) Office proficiency. You'll also need energy, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. While working with various areas throughout the company, you'll develop skills in all areas of business. You'll need at least 1 year of general work experience, 3-5 years preferred, and a working knowledge of measuring program outcomes, including statistical analysis. Offering three tracks - clinical, IT and general leadership - participants will develop a strong foundational understanding of the managed health care industry and amass skills and critical leadership capabilities. Through carefully selected assignment rotations, participants can expect to work directly with senior leaders on high-impact and transformational business initiatives.
