Position Purpose: Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds solutions that solve common challenges within the Provider Data Network using SQL and Power Platform . Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy and oversee the development process. A cross-functional role that encompasses a broad range of business knowledge and technical skillsets, working in collaboration with multiple teams and specialists. Takes an active role in design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Writes code for software programs and applications using inheritance and virtualization following best programming practices.
  • Performs complex research and analysis to find best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems using best method or tools to develop solutions.
  • Conducts meetings to gather requirements and updates on ongoing projects. Maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development.
  • Collaborating with peers on development and solution strategy to identify the most efficient and effective product solutions. Performs regular code reviews and requests.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience is a plus.

One or more of the following skills are desired:

  • SQL
Pay Range: $67,400.00 - $121,300.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
