- Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
- Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects

- Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
- Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
As a Quality Improvement Intern, you will play a hands-on role in advancing clinical and member experience outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a targeted strategy to drive improvements in specific quality measures.
- Conducting literature reviews to identify best practices and inform strategy development.
- Performing data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Designing and implementing quality initiatives that address identified needs, ensuring they align with broader organizational goals.
- Preparing presentations and reports to communicate project findings, strategies, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project progress, alignment, and integration.
- Assisting in the tracking and monitoring of project metrics to evaluate the success and impact of implemented initiatives.
- Supporting the development of process improvement methodologies and creating templates or tools to streamline future quality improvement efforts.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Currently pursuing an MPH or a related field.
- Proficiency in technical tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with an aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
- Strong business and technical writing skills.
- Keen interest in healthcare quality improvement and a desire to make a positive impact.
Experience/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
The salary range is: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law
