- Designs, develops, maintains, and executes moderately complex test automation scripts and builds reports to show results summarizing defects and recommends resolutions
- Develops and executes manual and automated tests using appropriate tools and requirements to report defects for specific product functions and verify resolutions for all defects for an assigned project
- Develops and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation relative to the organization's quality management system
- Enforces quality standards by identifying and recommending new procedures, standards, and resolution of outages
- Keeps updated with the latest industry developments and assure compliance of Centene’s products and processes
- Develops new procedures and standards, suggest improvements to existing standards, and participate in internal and cross functional code and design reviews
- Verifies product quality by analyzing product and technical artifacts
- Protects assets by ensuring that all work is stored appropriately in the proper repository (Quality Centers, Subversion etc.) in compliance with department standards
- Creates reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information to include accurate data for project reporting as well as a weekly personal status report
- Leverages synthetic data in partnership with TDM team for testing
- Integrates automated suite with CI/CD platform
- Mentors and provides guidance for lower level engineers
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
- One or more of the following skills are desired.
- Knowledge of Test Automation - Tosca preferred
- Knowledge of Java (Programming Language); Python (Programming Language)
- Knowledge of Other: CI/CD tools
- Cloud technologies
- Functional Testing: Software Engineering concepts, usage of Test & Defect Management Tools, such as QTest and Jira - defect management
- Integration Testing: usage of tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI
- Concepts on core Managed Care processes, such as end-to-end flows for Appeals & Grievances, Membership, Claims, Provider Lifecycle Management; different Lines of Business)
- Pega Testing: including usage of native tools like Tracer, Clipboard, Pega AUT, and concepts of Business Process Management Experience with QA Metrics & Reporting
