The Actuarial Intern will support the Marketplace Actuarial team. The internship will allow the selected students to learn actuarial concepts including forecasting, assumption building, reserving and modeling. Interns who are working towards an actuarial designation will gain hands-on actuarial experience on assumption-setting and modeling.
As an Actuarial Services Intern, you will:
- Receive individualized training to significantly expand your skillset during the internship
- Receive industry-specific as well as basic to intermediate software training classes as part of the program
- Engage with weekly trainings in many finance areas of the company
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
The salary range is: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
