Position Purpose: Provide hands-on training to corporate quality staff and line of business partners. Training will encompass, but not limited to: Star measures and HEDIS or HEDIS like measures. Liaise to ensure training curriculum and content reflect the latest quality requirements.
***The HEDIS Clinical Trainer is primarily remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in-person and virtual clinical trainings
- Identify, select and develop, in conjunction with subject matter experts, plan-specific curriculum content and teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference work
- Coordinate and build collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts and preceptors within specific health plans or conduct train-the-trainer sessions
- Evaluate training needs and effectiveness of training programs, and communicate results to management
- Maintain records of training activities and employee progress
- Assist in auditing work performed by staff and present findings and recommendations for areas of improvement to management
- Assist with revisions to policy and procedures and/or work process development
- Share best training practices with other trainers
- Research, analyze, and recommend external training programs
- Travel as required
Highly Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years of HEDIS experience
- 2+ years as a LPN or RN
- Prior training experience
Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in nursing; 2+ years of experience in nursing, managed care, training, or related field. LPN or RN license required.
Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
