- Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
- Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects

- Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies
The IA intern will work closely with Internal Audit staff and management to gain a better understanding of the end-to-end business and controls, complete testing to ensure company controls are operating effectively, and collaborate with interns across the company to share experiences and knowledge gained.
In this role, the Internal Audit Intern will:
- Perform Walkthroughs of Key Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls with assistance of IA Staff
- Complete sampling, support request, and testing of Key SOX controls to ensure they are operating effectively
- Explore the use of digital tools and software for ways the IA department can streamline procedures
- Assist in performing operational and fraud audit testing procedures
- Complete a signature project at the end of the summer internship
Experience/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
The salary range is: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, degree program, degree level, number of years of participation in the internship program, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
