Position Purpose: This role will have oversight of the Maternal child clinical programs, partnerships and will be directly involved in strategies to improve OB clinical outcomes including Hedis and Quality measures. Role will also have direct oversight of the Maternal Child clinical program, provider and vendor partnership for OB services and will be directly involved in developing and executing a strategy to improve OB clinical outcomes, including Hedis and Quality measures. This role will be a key contributor and have direct oversight of rural strategy and Health Equity strategies for the OB population and solutioning for social determinant drivers of health within the OB population. This role will be directly involved in managing the OB Case Management program and developing new programs and evaluating the efficacy of existing programs based on clinical outcomes.
- Foster relationships with OB/Maternal Child Health providers in all of Nevada
- Develop strategies to improve Maternal child outcomes in partnership with Quality and Health Equity
- Oversight of all Maternal Child Programs
- Oversight of Social Determinant of health programs with community based organizations
- Develop and Maintain relationships with key State programs and Stakeholders
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 5-7 years of job specific experience. 3+ years of management experience. Knowledge and experience working within the Nevada Market and the unique population specific to maternal-child health. Knowledge and experience with local programs within the community for maternal-child health, and the social drivers of health that drive clinical outcomes. The ability to identify data needs, and develop data driven strategies and programs to improve clinical and social outcomes for the maternal-child population. Preferred clinical experience in OB and/or NICU.
