Position Purpose:

Responsible for identifying, building and implementing business strategies that support provider network and product development initiatives, focusing on building productive strategic provider relationships. Design, implement, and optimize innovative and value based payment contracting strategies to include the development of a broad vision, short and long term objectives and execution of key business initiatives across all products.

  • Develop and execute Strategic Payment Innovation/Value-Based Payment (VBP) Roadmap and all approved roadmap initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of VBP programs and lead negotiation support of all VBP programs.
  • Oversee and coordinate administration and reporting of all VBP programs.
  • Direct and supervise staff in the development and implementation of Strategic Provider Partnership Initiatives.
  • Develop, recommend and implement cross-functional plans and activities to achieve strategic initiatives; communicate insights, progress of challenges and presents resolution scenarios.
  • Track and report status on strategic partnerships, risk adjustment, tailored network development and other activities to leadership teams.


Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health Administration, or equivalent fields of study or equivalent experience. Master’s in Business Administration preferred. 10+ years of experience working in managed care for either a health plan or delegated provider organization or Managed Service Organization.

License/Certification: PMP certification preferred

Pay Range: $139,500.00 - $258,300.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
