Position Purpose: This position interacts with health care providers and their office staff via phone and email. This individual provides information to TRICARE providers with regards to TRICARE Program and specifically Provider Network Operations and serves as the key provider education mechanism. The Provider Relations Representative II coordinates and delivers required education and briefing activities with question/answer sessions in large and small group settings; coordinates and staffs information tables and booths at various events; and schedules and conducts on-site provider education to local physician offices (group or one-on-one settings) and facilities in support of market goals and initiatives.
Plans, schedules and conducts events supporting TRICARE Operations Manual (TOM)-required briefings and T3 customer service support requirements in the assigned market. Interacts with service members of all ranks, categories and pay grades.
Works with MTF Commanders to create and modify customer support training program materials and briefing presentations to reflect specific MTF needs.
Maintains event attendance records, compiles and submits required reports, and maintains appropriate educational and briefing materials to support required events.
Interfaces, coordinates and maintains calendar and schedules of required events with military customers in the assigned Market.
The Provider Relations Representative II keeps up-to-date on TRICARE program changes to ensure briefing content is current and complete.
May perform job duties from various locations within the market area.
May travel with short notice, for a short-term stay of one to four weeks to perform duties at an alternate work location.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. One to two years provider relations experience interacting and problem-solving with providers. One year TRICARE experience preferred. One year Call Center experience preferred
