In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Product Managers and Product Owners and will shape the strategic product direction for Provider systems. You will engage stakeholders, understand their business, and develop long-term product roadmaps to support their strategic goals and objectives. You will help identify improvement opportunities, drive business case development, conduct research, and deliver new and improved products to drive business value and an exceptional customer experience.

To succeed, you will need to be equally comfortable managing tactical details as well as driving strategic topics with key stakeholders. You will need the ability to influence others and build strong collaborative relationships while exhibiting strong leadership qualities—including the ability to create and articulate a concise vision and a plan to realize it. You will need solid business knowledge to understand the day-to-day experience of our stakeholders as well as a technical background so that you can easily converse in the details with our developers and technology teams as you find new ways to leverage technology to solve business problems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader that possesses experience in Product Management and Agile practices, promotes a collaborative team culture, and ignites passion within the team to deliver exceptional business solutions.

You will guide and mentor Product Managers and Product Owners on your team and help them grow into strong contributors who understand their role within a Product operational model and how to engage with their key stakeholders. In addition to serving and manager and team leader, you will also own your own portfolio of initiatives where you will directly engage with stakeholders and technology teams.

Qualifications:

 Position Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the translation of business strategy into product strategy and roadmaps by facilitating the collaboration and alignment of business leaders and technology teams.

  • Be responsible for the overall product lifecycle of multiple enterprise-wide products including design, development, implementation, and support. Ensure the ongoing funding and investment of product development and while capturing value realization and delivering ROI.

  • Ensure the overall health of the agile development process by coaching and developing product mangers and product owners and monitoring team productivity and efficiency.

  • Collaborate and influence stakeholders and technology teams to negotiate and agree on proposed new systems and changes to existing systems and practices.

  • Actively synthesize and integrate market changes and technology improvements into actionable improvements for key products.

  • Act as a thought leader by partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide a global viewpoint and extend applications across the enterprise.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple priorities.

  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills with the capability to facilitate deep strategic conversations, build and develop consensus with other business units, and influence decisions across functions.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of specified product domain and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology. Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach experience preferred.
