Director, Telehealth Services

Position Purpose:

  • Develop telehealth strategy and lead relevant health plan executive directors’ participation in telehealth activities
  • Design, introduce and oversee all telehealth services and programs to pilot and subsequent providers and monitor all implementation strategies
  • Ensure high quality monitoring, tracking, reporting and documentation of program functions to effectively meet the needs of the specialist and primary care physicians, clinics, patients and families
  • Monitor national and international telehealth trends and drive implementation of appropriate telehealth solutions including multiple technology vendors and clinical partners
  • Develop remote patient monitoring options for various cross-functional departments that support HBR initiatives
  • Define and implement provider incentive plans to drive telehealth adoption
  • Develop all communication, training, and policies and procedures for all telehealth activities
  • Serve as company expert for telehealth activities and as liaison on related activities
  • Interact with all regulators to promote the funding and recognition of telehealth services as tools to increase access
  • Create policies and procedures for all telehealth activities
  • 75% travel required
  • Qualifications:
    Implement the strategic vision of comprehensive patient-centered telehealth services by ensuring the availability of innovative, high quality and virtually accessible clinical care for PCPs and members

    Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, related field or equivalent experience, Master’s Degree preferred. 7+ years of combined telehealth activities, clinical practice or virtual health care experience in a provider, plan or technology supplier environment. Prior knowledge of managed care preferred. Experience with rural health care needs preferred.

    Licenses/Certifications: Current state driver’s license. RN preferred.
