Recruiting Process

Here are some frequently asked questions from candidates.

Keeping you informed is important to us.  To check the status of any application:

  1. Visit our Career Site.
  2. Sign in to your account (if not already signed in).
  3. Click Returning Applicants.

We are careful about hiring decisions, which sometimes means processes take time to play out.  Once a decision has been made on any role, you will receive email correspondence regarding the outcome.

In order to access your account please:

  1. Click here.
  2. Select ‘Forgot your user name?’ or ‘Forgot your password?’ (depending on your issue).
  3. Follow the instructions.

If your account is still locked, please notify us at Recruiting@Centene.com and we will be happy to unlock it for you, at which time you will receive an email with instructions on how to log in with a temporary password.

Typically we do not disclose pay ranges unless there are legal requirements to do so.  If this applies to you, please let us know by emailing us at Recruiting@Centene.com.

We are, however, very interested in your compensation requirements, and invite you to share them with us as you apply.  We use this information to ensure the role will meet your compensation expectations before moving you forward.

Once you have applied, you are able to follow the status of your application here.  After a decision has been made on any role you have applied to, you will receive correspondence regarding the outcome.

We are sorry you are having an issue completing your assessment.  Most of the time, one of the below steps will allow you to participate in this important step:

  • Password or User Name issues? Click here, then click ‘Forgot your user name?’ or ‘Forgot your password?’.
  • Assessment Link Expired? Please let us know by emailing us at Recruiting@Centene.com and we will email you a new link.  Note:  They are normally good for 3 days.
  • Have Not Received an Expected Assessment Invitation? First, please check your spam folders.  If it is not there, please let us know by emailing us at Recruiting@Centene.com and we can resend the invitation.  If you have multiple versions, please use the most recent one.

For a variety of reasons we do not publicize the names of our employees. 

However, once we determine you are a potential fit for a position, our recruiting team will be in touch with you regarding next steps.  After a decision has been made, you will receive email correspondence regardless of the outcome.

It is important for all internal employees to apply to jobs through CNET ➔ Life & Career ➔ Job Openings.

Please note the following people should apply to the external site:

  • Temporary/Contingent workers currently assigned to Centene (because they are not Centene employees).
  • Employees who do not have access to CNET (potentially because they came through a recent acquisition).
